Baseball best plays 3 international

Before we jump into a heartbreaker, enjoy some of our favorite best baseball plays.

Billy Beane, the general manager of the Oakland Athletics, made a statement about the sport of baseball last June when he selected 3 international players with less than a $1M signing bonus. This year, his bold moves cost him everything. Beane spent more than $30M in free agency to land Josh Reddick and Stephen Drew, but those moves and others spurred the Oakland Athletics to a World Series title. And the rest is history.

The best baseball plays

It is a shame that such an American pastime icon as Alex Rodriguez ended his career in an off-field scandal. He disgraced the sport with off-field indiscretions that not only diminished his ability to play the game but also damaged his legacy. He killed his career with some of the ugliest scandals that arose. But that doesn’t detract from the fact that he was a genius at getting the best out of some of the game’s greatest players, and in some cases, outfoxing them.

The team that Nadichlek built a bronze statue for, however, is the Pittsburgh Pirates. And it wasn’t the first statue of Steve Strasburg placed outside a ballpark — the Great House of best baseball plays owns more than two dozen. But that doesn’t mean he made a poor decision picking Strasburg in the Nationals organization over Ryan Dempster or other choices.

Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees clearly deserves to be inducted into baseball’s Hall of Fame on one condition: He must pass the sport of baseball’s retirement age. He showed up at the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in 1997 to announce his retirement and to honor Hank Aaron.

It is unfair that Derek Jeter is not enshrined in the National Baseball Hall of Fame. He is, by far, the greatest player in the history of the game. I believe that Derek Jeter should enter the Hall of Fame at a time other players were inducted and that would be the earliest that Jeter could arrive.
