The greenest part of the total season is monsoon. Many people believe trekking is not made for the monsoon season.Humidity and heavy rain are the most irritating enemy for trekkers.But there are also many places where rain  Can be very enjoyable and also safe. There are many popular adventurous hotspots in the Himalayas for trekkers who love to trek.

Monsoon is the best season to explore the colour of mother nature. The smell of the soaked soil and the lush greenery area will definitely stir your mind.The beautiful flora and fauna will give you a refreshing vibe this time.

Valley Of Flowers Trek

In the Himalayan region this trek is one of the most popular trek.Indian government created the Valley of Flowers National Park in 1980. Later in 2002, it was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.This is a natural bouquet. The Valley of Flowers trek goes through dense forests, along with Pushpawati river. In the trail one can experience many bridges, waterfalls, and glaciers. Throughout the season the valley of flowers seems to change its colours. But the monsoon makes the valley a beautiful woman who is wearing a crown which is made with amazing flowers.In this time you can experience colourful butterflies,small birds etc. In the end of May or early June the flowers begin to bloom. Every year it closes in October or in November.

Day 1

After arriving at Rishikesh you need to head  towards Joshimath. The distance is 255 km from Rishikesh.In the evening you will reach Joshimath. Stay here overnight.

Day 2

After having breakfast you need to drive towards Govindghat. This is 22 km away from Joshimath. You need to trek towards Ghangaria or Govind Dham. It is 10 km from Govindghat.This is the base camp of this trek. Stay overnight at Ghangaria.

Day 3

This is the final part of the trek. The trekking level is easy. Here you can see several streams. After exploring the valley you need to return to Ghangaria. Stay here overnight.

Day 4

After having breakfast you need to start trekking towards Govindghat. Then you need to drive towards joshimath. Stay in a hotel overnight.

Day 5

This morning you need to drive back to Rishikesh. Say goodbye to the gorgeous hills.

Mullayanagiri Trek

This is situated at Chikmagalur,Karnataka. This is a thrilling trek among the Western Ghats. In the monsoon, here you will experience clouds and cool winds. Mullayanagiri is the highest peak of Karnataka. Here one can also experience many Nandi Idols. This trek offers you a gorgeous view of the Western Ghats. The best time for this trek is September-April. During monsoon(June-September) the fog in the air creates a mystery.

Sinhagad Trek

Sinhagad Trek in Pune is the best monsoon trek. The beautiful sunrise and sunset from the fort will definitely blow your mind.It is situated at an altitude of 4,304 feet. This is a moderate trek and it takes 2 days to complete. Sinhagad fort is situated 49 km from Pune. It was built 2000 years ago. 

Pin Parvati Pass trek

Pin Parvati valley is known as the “valley of Gods”.This gorgeous Pass is located in the beautiful state of Himachal Pradesh. It’s a difficult challenge for many trekkers who are seasoned. This trek starts at Kaza. The best time to visit here is the month of May to September. The Pin Parvati peak(5319m) has many peaks namely the Parvati North, the Parvati South, the Pinnacle and Kullu Eiger. In this trek you also experience the hot water springs which are at Parvati Kund at Kheerganga. It is a thrilling trek.Pin Parvati trek will always remain as a golden memory to a person. You must try this one when you come to Himachal.

Beas Kund Trek

Beas kund is a 15 to 17 km short trek in Himachal Pradesh. This place is close to Manali city. It is an easy to moderate trek which is a perfect trek for a beginner. This trek starts from Solang Valley. This place is situated at a height of 12,772 ft. Beas Kund is a small alpine lake.This trek can be completed within 4 days. In the monsoon the long spruce trees, velvety long slopes, lush green grassland will soak your eyes with their beauty. Here you can find some peaks like Hanuman Tibba, Friendship Peak, Seven sisters etc. The last ATM is in Manali.
