Hampta Pass Trek

Hampta Pass is situated in the Pir Panjal Range of the great Himalayas.It is placed at an altitude of 14.100ft.In the beginning of the trek you can experience the beautiful pine,rhododendron and maple forests.The wildflowers on the rocky hill will definitely stir your mind.Here in this single trek you will cover two wonderful valleys.One is the Kullu valley and another one is the vast Spiti valley.You need to cover 28 km within 5 days.This is a easy to moderate trek.

Best Time

The main attraction of this trek is snow.So the best time to visit here is the month of June and July.This time the temperature goes down to -15 degree celsius.In the mid July to October you can experience the lush greenery on Hampta Pass.


After arriving at Manali you need to drive towards Jobra.After reaching Jobra you need to trek towards chika.Set a camp on Chika and stay overnight.


Early morning after having your breakfast start your trek towards Balu Ka Ghera.Here you will experience the beautiful Jwara river and Dhauladhar ranges.After reaching at Balu Ka Ghera you need to make your camp here and stay here overnight.


Next morning you will head towards Sia goru.This is your next campsite.The total trail is made with boulders so you need to be careful.On this day you will reach Hampta Pass.The beauty of the valley will soak your eyes and stir your mind.Here you will experience the wide view of the Deo Tibba Peak.

After enjoying the mind blowing view of Hampta Pass a descent trail will take you to the base where you need to stay overnight.  


On the 4th day you need to start trekking downhill towards Chatru.Reaching at Chatru you need to drive towards Chandratal.It is a beautiful lake which is situated 45 km from camp.Take the breathtaking beauty of the Chandratal and then head back to Chatru.Stay overnight in a camp on Chatru.  


After finishing your breakfast in the morning.You need to drive back to Manali. 

Bhrigu Lake Trek

Bhrigu lake is situated around 20 km from Manali.This is the most beautiful treks in Himachal Pradesh.This trek will give you breathtaking alpine meadows.The maximum altitude is 14,009 ft.It is a easy to moderate trek.4 days will be enough to cover this trek.The wonderful lake has its own amazing scenic beauty.Here one can see some peaks like Deo Tibba,Hanuman Tibba,Pir Panjal etc.The total length of the trail is 26 km.The starting and ending point of the trek is old Manali.This is a thrilling trek.If you haven’t enough time in your hand for long treks then you can choose this trek.
